I have absolutely been on a rocky mountain high since my weekend getaway with The Argentine.

It started Friday morning, sleepless, heading to PV foreign country to rendezvous with the girls. The acacia flooded me with childhood memories.

After 6 hours of driving and smoking the Indian, I finally knocked out on the 3rd floor of a 4 story house.

The Locksmith

I finally picked up my suitcases from my locksmith Ramon! He's a sweetheart!
Anyway, I bought the vintage suitcases for the Glitter shoot with Tasha and since then, I've decided to keep it all for myself.

Since I'm traveling next month, I decided to get locks for them and Ramon was more than helpful! Don't even get me started on my cobbler! I think this is the only reason why I like Torrance.

S0 the FedEx man finally delivered my Semi Pro SLR!!! So I took it out to Haggerty's to play!

Oblivious

Today, as I finally write the review for Ka+suya, I realize that I don't really pay attention to things. Unless it is at DTLA or Echo Park... sometimes Silverlake.

So I'm here trying to remember how people dressed at the Americana and I can't remember a damn thing. Is it because that I'm not the biggest fan of Glendale? Or that all in all I really dislike the area...

It's really hard to write a review when you're really disinterested. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love getting compd for a $300 meal, but I just wasn't all that into it.

I did notice one thing though... Jacob's shoes. They were really old. As in the soles are literally talking to each other.

On any other occasion, I would absolutely LOVE old beaten down shoes chattering with each other. But if you're trying to exude fine dining and unmached excellence, shouldn't your general managers represent themselves in that exact same manner?

Also, I did notice, on my way out, these douchebag teenager dressed in a stupid cap for a night out.

Gosh! Am I really a hater as Selma puts it?

Speaking of which, I took Lin and Selma to Lamill Coffee. Apparently, I'm the only one not paying attention as Selma and Lin, the minute we enter, make eye contact with Scott Speedman sitting in the corner booth.

"He just kept staring!" says Selma and Lin notes that its quite difficult to miss someone wearing a big ass headphone!

Now I'm telling Selma that he thinks shes a fucking Greek goddess lost in Silverlake.

And all this happened with my back turned to this fella. Oblivious!

Then we headed off to the Hammer to meet up with V, Margarita and Fiji for Warpaint and Foreign Born.

Apparently there were a fuckload of colors all over. And yet I was oblivious.

I did notice these two fuckers moving in on my little. Sadly, I'm affiliated through HS. I didn't even say hi or acknowledge their presence. Call me a bitch if you have to!

Boredom Kills

I was gonna paddle out today but got too lazy to drive the short distance to Haggerty's.

So I'm alone in the apartment, as my sister took my kid brother to swim, and I'm super bored.

So I take up one of my kid brother's old shirt and decided to do something with it.

I was going to use the wood finish and the left over industrial paint I have used for my Light Switch, but then I realized they were in the garage.

I was too lazy to go down the garage.

So I was like... ah fuck it! Maybe next time.

BUT THEN...

I realized, as I munch on cherries, that cherry stains REALLY good (just like lipstick if you leave it with your clothes tumbling in the dryer)

So then I start doing Rodrigo aka CAL, the only naked man in the room (shut up dirty bastards) with cherry traces.

Still.... it didn't feel right.

Another thing I realized was that I've got a fuck load of wine and wine ALSO stains really good!

So I brushed the muscles with wine and BAM! I'm done!

This morning I finally finalized my flight to Manila and officially booked it on the 25th of August until the 7th of October.

Now, as I listen to Dead Weather, I realize I'll be missing a fuck load of shows and festivals! Street Scene in San Diego, Outside Lands in SF, Detour is sometime in October and Dead Weather will be in LA on the 25th of August!

FUCK MY ASS DUDE!!! Why didn't I account for those!!!!

Major Damage!

I honestly can't even begin to fathom the fact that the complimentary meal at Ka+suya was over $300! Ridonkalous! I mean YES the dishes were amazing especially the miso marinated black cod with miso reduction sauce!

And the drinks! I love what Cat got! Just how the sweet and spicy compliments each other with the chili! And yes! It's an alcoholic beverage!

The mojito was safe! It was far too girly for me, but I have to say it was still great!

Now off to write a review!

I saw Band of Skulls at The Hammer last night not really knowing what to expect. That thumbs up band started the set and to be honest, I wasn't at all dazzled.

Anyway, when Band of Skulls came on the song sounded so familiar that I was actually mumbling some of it. Then when I actually listened to the lyrics baby darling honey dollface I suddenly realized they were with Jason Bentley some weeks ago.

They were just soooooooooooooooooo amazing live!!! It has been a while since I've seen a really good show and Band of Skulls did it for me!

Emma was so bad ass! She was just really good. She would look you right square in the eye and survey the crowd and just drink in the whole place and bask in the limelight. She wasn't performing, she just just genuinely having a good time!

Russell was so mysteriously hot and when he and Emma did that whole one on one time on stage, I couldn't help scream out SEXY TIME!
